One of the best things about Assetto Corsa is the huge library of community mods available. With a Rorzone Pro subscription you can bring your own cars and tracks to your private sessions. Here is how to get them uploaded and ready to race.
Step 1: Make Sure You Have a Pro Subscription
Custom mod uploads are a Pro feature. If you have not upgraded yet you can do it once you log in to the Rorzone. Once you are on Pro, follow the steps below.
Step 2: Find Your Mod Folder
Navigate to your Assetto Corsa content folder on your computer. It is usually found at steamapps/common/assettocorsa/content. Inside you will find a cars folder and a tracks folder. Find the specific car or track folder you want to upload and compress it into a zip file.
Step 3: Go to My Mods
Log in to Rorzone and open the side menu. Click on My Mods to open the mod management page.
Step 4: Upload Your Zip File
On the My Mods page you will see two sections. Select Add Car on the left side to upload a car mod, or Add Track on the right side to upload a track. Click the button and select the zip file you created in Step 2.
Step 5: Fill in the Details
Once the file is uploaded, make sure all the fields are filled in correctly. For cars this includes the make, model and available skins. For tracks this includes the track name and layout. Getting these right ensures everything works smoothly in the lobby.
Step 6: Submit and Start Racing
Hit the Submit button and your mod is now available on Rorzone. Next time you create a lobby as the host, your uploaded cars and tracks will be available to select. Share the lobby code with your friends and enjoy the race!
Conclusion
Adding mods to Rorzone is straightforward once you know where to look. If you run into any issues feel free to ask for help on r/rorzone and we will get you sorted!
